ARMY PUBLIC SCHOOL SRINAGAR is, incontestably, a secular, co-educational day-cum- residential, Senior Secondary-cum-Primary School that was established/opened on 15 May 1981 with an enrollment of 147 students in classes I to VIII. Later on, with the fervent endeavors and grit of the school management, it was upgraded to Class XII. Our school is possibly one of the best-equipped and outfitted inhabited schools of North India, both in design, and amenities, with an august prominence on the latest educational technology and terminology to enable the students to realize their full potential and expand their mental horizons so as to leave no stone unturned in coming out triumphant in each and every field. It focuses on upgrading and kindling the dormant talents in the students by organizing the hive of activities and cutthroat competitions. Moreover, it lays emphasis on sports activities by following the notion, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.”
Army Public School Srinagar encompasses 45 acres of beautiful and lush green rolling hills at the base of Zabarwan Enclave, a famous resort of Srinagar. The School can be easily accessible by Road, Air and Train services; Srinagar being the nearest Air and Rail head.

Principal of the school is Mr Sandeep Kumar Marhatta who is undoubtedly an epitome of dedication, perseverance and above all, a dexterous leader. This school is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
