Swarnim Gujarat Sports University is a state University located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
The Swarnim Gujarat Sports University, established by Government of Gujarat under Act 22, 2011, is the brainchild of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi (the then Chief Minister of Gujarat) with an aim to provide knowledge and learning to aspiring sportspersons and help in development of sports in the state. The University offers career oriented certificate courses in Under Graduate Courses, Post Graduate Courses, Post Graduate Diploma Programs, Research Programs in various fields like Physical Education, Sports Science, Fitness Management, Exercise Therapy and Physical Conditioning, Adventure Sports Administration, Sports Management, Sports Psychology, Sports Coaching and Sports journalism etc.
