In an effort to bring Indian chartered accountants more in line with their global counterparts, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has kickstarted the process of restructuring its curriculum for the CA course. The institute has sought comments from stakeholders for the proposals before March 31.
Key proposals are to introduce an English language and business communication subject at the foundation level and to replace theory papers on infotech with practical ones at the intermediate and final levels.
