ADITYA-BIRLA-SCHOLARSHIP

Aditya Birla Scholarships (ABS) scheme, instituted in 1999, is a way of pursuing the ideals of late Sri Aditya Vikram Birla, the founder of Aditya Birla Group, who believed that the success or failure of an organization depends on people – on human beings, on their talent, on their enterprise. “ABS program is not just about academic excellence; aspiring scholars are evaluated on holistic parameters that take on board their extra curricular activities, leadership qualities, values, vision …. their dreams”.

Under Aditya Birla Scholarship scheme, some of the brightest scholars entering select Indian Institutes of Management, Indian Institutes of Technology and the Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani, are groomed to become outstanding leaders. Aditya Birla Scholarship which are offered to meritorious students every year, covers the academic fees as well as the hostel fees for the duration of the course, commencing with the academic session of the first year. The scholars are assessed regularly on qualitative and quantitative parameters to judge their performance on the academic achievement and leadership.
