Amguri College

Amguri College, situated at Amguri, in Sivasagar/Sibsagar district of Assam, is an aided co-educational institute. The college was established in 1967 to facilitate value-based higher education for the financially poor students, particularly hailing from the tea gardens of remote localities of Assam. The college is well-furnished with all necessary facilities amidst beautiful surroundings of evergreen tea gardens. Amguri College is affiliated to Dibrugarh University and accredited with a “B” grade certificate by NAAC. The college offers several undergraduate courses in Arts subjects, such as Economics, Education, History, Political Science, Sociology and Assamese. Besides, the college conducts higher secondary courses in several Arts subjects, along with career-oriented programs in Computers and English Communicative skills.
